Mod Threads is a boutique at first sight, but we hope that you will soon find MT to be so much more. Mod Threads was established in 2020 and there is so much to testify about when it comes to God's hand being over this business from the small to the big details. Our goal is to live up to our tagline:

We love to shop, we want to encourage you through the craziness of life, and we hope that through genuine fellowship our community can make a difference in one another's lives.

Mod Threads was born after a few walks out in the country and a car ride to an all day shopping trip with my dear friend Brooke (because we LOVE those). We were talking about life goals, the craziest of them. Amongst those ideas was the vision for a boutique. A boutique that was more than clothes, one that was rooted in faith and really acted to make a difference in the lives of others. I always say, the clothes are the "what" around here, but they are so far from the "why".

At the time, both Brooke and I were working full time in the public school system as teachers. We both loved teaching, but we both knew that God was working on our hearts to go in different directions. For Brooke, she felt very strongly that she was going to be pulled to serve in worship ministry. I always had a feeling that I would end up in the entrepreneurial world somehow, which Brooke was a huge piece of the puzzle to making that a reality. She is wild at heart and always willing to take a risk to further God's kingdom. I like to play things safely and stay where things are comfortable. However, that's just not always the best option for us if we want to remain obedient to Christ's calling on our lives. Despite the question marks, Brooke and I both founded Mod Threads and worked on growing it as an online only boutique. We sold t-shirts and keychains. Now, Brooke works full time in worship ministry and I have also hung up my teacher hat to take on Mod Threads in a full time capacity. The business has expanded to a storefront with a full line of women's clothing, accessories, faith based items, knick knacks, and more.

Mod Threads was birthed from God given vision, guidance, and out of obedience. He has remained faithful to give the strength when things feel impossible, to provide EVERY time when we have a need, and to give wisdom in creating something from literally nothing but an intangible vision.

As to what the future hold for Mod Threads, only God knows that with complete assurance. However, what I do know, is that we will continue to remain faithful to the call and we hope that you will join us on the journey. Without you, our community, Mod Threads will never be all that it is intended to be.
