Shop. Encourage. Fellowship.

At first glance, Mod Threads may look like just a boutique—but our hope is that you’ll quickly discover it’s so much more.

Founded in 2020, Mod Threads is a testament to God’s faithfulness—His hand has been over every detail, from the smallest moments to the biggest milestones.

Our mission is to live out our tagline: Shop | Encourage | Fellowship.

We love helping you find pieces that make you feel confident and beautiful, we’re here to offer encouragement through life’s ups and downs, and we truly believe that authentic fellowship can create lasting impact in our community.

Meet the Owner

Hey there, my name is Libbey!

I was once a teacher, but traded in my gradebook for graphic tees to follow God’s lead and raise my two sweet boys. What started as a small dream has grown into more than I ever imagined—and I give all the glory to God for His incredible provision.

I run on Jesus, coffee, and Diet Coke (in that order, every single day). If I’m not at the shop, you can probably find me wranglin' my boys, at a local sporting event with my husband, or daydreaming of the next big thing for MT.

Speaking of my husband—I couldn’t do any of this without him. He’s my right-hand man, my encourager, and my biggest supporter.

I truly love getting to know our amazing customers. Helping you find that just-right piece brings me so much joy! Thanks for being here. I love you all, truly!

Want to know more? Keep reading- I'll give you a glimpse of our journey.

Did you know? MT started by selling just graphic tees, keychains, & lanyards.
Here is a peak at some Mod Threads graphic tees we first offered. We still see these out and about every once in a while! Plus, take a glimpse at our process of making keychains & lanyards.

How It Started

Mod Threads started on a walk out in the country with some friends. It was just me and some of my dear friends, one being Brooke, talking about life, faith, and some wild dreams. One of those dreams was a boutique—not just any boutique, but one rooted in faith, where style meets purpose. A place where the clothes were the what, but never the why.

To get a start, we offered graphic apparel, keychains, and lanyards. In those early days, Brooke and I did it all ourselves—from pressing graphic tees by hand to making lanyards and keychains, and shipping every order from a tiny desk in the corner of our workroom. It was a true labor of love built on late nights, lots of laughs, and a deep trust in what God was building. We started small, but we showed up with big faith.

Brooke has now stepped into full time worship ministry, and I have taken on Mod Threads full time. I will forever be grateful for the fearless faith of Brooke's that breathed life into the foundational principles of Mod Threads.

How It's Going

What began as a specialty online shop has grown into something so much more—because of God’s faithfulness and the support of an incredible community like you.

Today, Mod Threads includes a full website, a shoppable app, and a storefront where we get to welcome customers face-to-face (one of my favorite things!). We offer carefully selected women’s clothing, accessories, and faith-based resources designed to encourage and uplift. We also design and print our own graphic tees in-house using high-quality direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, which gives us the freedom to create meaningful designs with excellent quality.

But more than anything, Mod Threads is still about heart. It’s about building connection, sharing encouragement, and creating a space where you feel seen, valued, and inspired.

I’m beyond grateful to walk this journey with you—and I can’t wait to see what God has in store next.

Blessings,

Libbey

"For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good."

– Titus 2:11-14
