Yahweh

אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה

I AM WHO I AM.

YHWH.

Yahweh.

There is something holy and sacred about the names of God that seem worth dwelling over and holding tenderly. I feel like I treasure the names of God because they're so valuable and I want to be careful with valuable things. As a little girl I remember being taught to not use the Lord's name in vain (Exodus 20:7). I always tried to honor that, but not because I understood the importance of His name, but just that it was the right thing to do. As my relationship with God grew, my love and appreciation for Him grew as well and with that so did the value I placed in His name. 

We serve a God who, for generations to generations, has been and will always be remembered as Yahweh. He's the God who is who He says that He is. He is the God who does all that He says that He does. He is the great I AM! He is the only one who can be held with such reverence. His ground is the holy ground. His death is the only death that actually ended with LIFE. He is the only one that we are to treasure and adore in the highest place and priority in life. Our Yahweh.
